Saturday Snapshot- 29-10-16

Hi everyone!
Today I am posting another Saturday Snapshot on some of the traditions that are unique only to Kerala- So lets get right to it...

I have observed, that the uses of facial expressions is crucial to convey the message... 

This is traditional fighting technique- Kalaripayattu. It has been said to be the mother of kung fu and karate!

This is one weapon which I found very interesting- It is a flexible metal- Much like a whip, however due to the metal it is made of, it can also be used as a sword! Strange...

Saturday Snapshot- 22-10-16

Hey people! How are you doing today?
It has been a really, really long time- almost two months now- but I have quite a lot to share!...and am going to keep filling you in, gradually...

Todays Saturday Snapshot is going to be a very special one... About all the animals and birds I saw on my trip to Kerala! From what I have observed... Kerala has a very diverse ecosystem- with plenty of Hill stations and high, jagged mountains to green low lying area's and coastlines... So let's take a look!

An unexpected visitor...

The first of many, this was a little friend I made in my aunt's backyard!

Well.... it could have fooled me! There were thousands of birds all over- it really was a sight to see...

A whistling bird- It tweeted it's sweet little song all through dawn... This is it's picture right here! 

We don't see a lot of these where I live....

Saturday Snapshot- 30-07-16

Saturday Snapshot- 23-07-16

Hey guys! This is my first Saturday Snapshot after a really long time... 

I am starting a mini-series for my trip to Southern India, Kerala! 

A thin sheet of clouds...

A small dam in the hills! It looks like a road cutting through 2 different ecosystems...

A beautiful lake in the calm of the day...

Various huts like these, were placed in the Vadakkunathan temple. It's 1000 years old! It's a classic example of Kerala's style of architecture. There were many mural's inside as well depicting the stories of an Indian epic- Mahabharata. It has also been declared as the National Monument of India! 

A beautiful waterfall cutting through the mountain...

Saturday Snapshot- 04-06-16

Hey guys, I am back with another Saturday Snapshot! This week I am going to be showing you some picture's on how I experiment with robotics at home with my tutor. Enjoy!

Turning the motors while connecting it to a mother board, which is connected to a Arduino (uno) board, which is connected to my laptop and run's using the commands I give on the Arduino program.
It's a long and complicating process... so don't get hung up if you didn't understand anything I wrote above :)

Saturday Snapshot- 28-05-2016

Hey guys, this is my second Saturday Snapshot! This week, I'll be showing you a few pictures of a painting that I made recently. What's special is that is sold for Rupees 3000!

In a nutshell, it was a great experience making the painting, and a proud, yet a bit sad one while selling it. Again, do forgive the picture quality, as it was taken while I was moving. The painting does look better in person! Thanks!

Saturday Snapshot- 21-05-2016

Hey guys! I've started participating in "Saturday Snapshot", which is hosted by West Metro Mommy Reads. It challenges bloggers to put up a few pictures they (or their family/friends) have clicked, every Saturday. This is my first post.... looking forward to continuing to share my experiences.  

Since it has been a hectic week, I wasn't able to post some sketches that I have started working on, but catch them next week because my summer vacations have finally started!!!

This week, I am going to be sharing some pictures with you, me and my family took a few years back, when we visited the Kennedy space station.
